 RJ Hernandez is an award-winning and highly experienced forward-planning project manager with a proven track record in the residential real estate industry since 2003. Throughout his career, RJ has worked with several Fortune 500 real estate firms, leading the design and management of thousands of single-family homes, townhomes, and accompanying infrastructure and park projects, representing assets exceeding $1 billion.

RJ’s expertise spans land acquisition, land development, construction, and project management for residential developments across Southern California. He has successfully collaborated with municipalities in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego Counties, including cities such as Glendora, Los Angeles, Covina, Pomona, and Rowland Heights.

As a Southern California native, RJ possesses an intimate understanding of the region's diverse communities. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is dedicated to mentoring young adults and spends his personal time teaching music, enjoying parks, and caring for his school-aged children.

• Direction of land planning/entitlements from concept design toward approval, including presentations to decision making bodies on tentative maps, specific plans, site design, Final Map approval, plotting & Conditions.
• Compliance with CEQA requirements and Federal and State agencies including ACOE, FEMA, RWQCB.
• Directing product design teams, engineers and landscape architects through site design including parks, amenities & homes, meter locations, value engineering, constructability review & utility conflict avoidance. 
• Purchasing and management responsibilities include RFPs/solicitation, bid packages, analysis, negotiation, contracting & scheduling for civil/soils engineers, landscape architects, & land development subcontractors.
• Established trust & positive relationships with vendors & governing agencies such as Cities & Districts throughout the region including City of Menifee, Riverside, Wildomar, San Jacinto, among others.
• Involvement on HOAs, with Property Management, and homeowner engagement, of assets under management.
• Mentored under-performing employees & co-workers through idiosyncratic management, toward recovery.
• As Director, hired & managed estimating, drafting, project management employees, of approx 6 at one time.
